More Progress

New Hampshire's state House of Representatives voted Wednesday to abolish the state's death penalty, which has not been carried out in nearly 70 years.

The fate of this bill is uncertain in the senate. The governor has stated that he will not sign the bill into law. Let's hope that the governor follows Governor Richardson of New Mexico who signed their bill into law last week. We must double our efforts to educate people to the facts on the many failures of capital punishment as a failed public policy.
